Schoolhouse Rock! is an American interstitial programming series of animated musical educational short films (and later, videos) that aired during the Saturday morning children's programming on the U.S. television network ABC. The topics covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics. The series' original run lasted from 1973 to 1985; it was later revived with both old and new episodes airing from 1993 to 1999. Additional episodes were produced in 2009 for direct-to-video release.

This Zoetrope is made of 20 Dancing Ballerinas, 18 Jumping mice, 17 Marching Nutcrackers and 1 christmas tree.
Its made for an interactive exhibition at Riverhouse Barn arts center, in Walton-on-thames which is open from 7th December 2016 - Janurary 8th 2017.

Magic Wheelchair is a really beautiful non-profit that helps to build amazingly, elaborate Halloween costumes for children in wheelchairs by organizing volunteers within communities, helping families apply for costumes and providing ideas for "epic costumes", all free of charge. Magic Wheelchair was started by parents Ryan and Lana Weimer, whose sons Keaton and Bryce both rely on wheelchairs to get around.

Various patterns are generated in Matlab using mathematical equations similar to ones describing Spirograph (or harmonograph) and Phyllotaxis. The patterns are calculated in such a way that when rotated under a stroboscopic light of suitable frequency or when recorded by a camera, they start to animate. It is kind of zoetrope--- early device for animation. Eggs were painted using EggBot, designed by Bruce Shapiro

Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories has released their 2016 edition of their annual nerdy math & science based valentines that can be downloaded and printed. The full set features 24 cards including six new cards for 2016 and the 18 cards from previous years. The new additions include references to Pluto, geometry, and electronics.

Independence Day is almost here, and to help celebrate the occasion, here's a hamster in a tricorn hat eating a tiny ear of corn.
Watch four friends enjoying a nice Summer BBQ outside for the Fourth of July. A rabbit, a hamster, a guinea pig and a hedgehog feast on some tiny burgers and kebabs while watch a "fireworks" show overhead.
