We've discovered a midnight movie that's slipped under our radar all these years. It's just as retro, hypnotic, and freaky as say, the cult musical Rocky Horror Picture Show - but you might even say it's a little more chic? It's called Dr. Caligari (1989), and it's going to be our new favorite Halloween classic.

Some closing shots provide unexpected answers to big questions. Others let questions dangle endlessly; leaving it to the audience to decide for themselves how the film closed out. Some provide resolve. Others double down on tragedy. Below we've assembled the fifty best, ranked. Enjoy.

If you think you're the only fan of movies so bad they're good, think again. Every state in the US has its own favorite terrible film. These films - you know, those bad movies that you love to hate and hate to love - definitely aren't masterpieces, but they bring about great nostalgia and comfort when you watch them.

The director famously refused to give his interpretation of the sci-fi masterpiece.

However, in a telephone interview in 1980, he allows for a few interesting nuggets.

I've never quite understood Marvel's reluctance to introduce a gay character in their movies, mostly because have you seen those movies? They are gay, honey.

It's not Monday but it is the first day back to work after a long weekend for many, and we haven't done one of these for a while... so for your consideration today we have Penelope Spheeris' opus to punk angst, Suburbia, featuring a very young Mike B. the Flea with performances by DI, the Vandals, and TSOL. Either join those nutty TR kids in their hijinks or drag your ass into the office, whatevs.

Whoa: After 27 years, we’re finally seeing more of Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted “Theodore” Logan. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a third 'Bill & Ted' movie is officially in the works.

After 1989’s "Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure" and 1991’s "Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey," Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will return for "Bill & Ted Face the Music." The script comes from the original creators, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon and "Galaxy Quest's" Dean Parisot will direct it.

The incredibly talented musicians of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra perform amazing symphonic interpretations of soundtracks from a variety of films. The Orchestra often partners with Danish television to present three night themes such as “The Dual – Morricone draws first“, which included songs from westerns and gangster movies such as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, The Godfather and “Galaxymphony“, which included soundtracks from various space and sci-fi movies such as Blade Runner, Interstellar and for good measure, the entire Star Wars Suite.

Critics are supposed to be the movie experts, right? Well, sometimes there's a major discrepancy between what the critics say and what movie audiences tell us. Business Insider has put together a list of fifty movies that got totally panned by critics but have super high ratings with the normal people who watch and enjoy them.

Classic scene where Christopher Walken interrogates Dennis Hopper.

Hopper knows he's as good as dead so he gets really racist and nasty with Walken.

Here's a list of the Spielberg celluloid works that I mostly agree with. We forget that some of the sequels were real bombs. Fortunately, as we approach the end of the article, there are many magical Hollywood moments worth remembering.

Kick back and watch Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson take a road trip on motorcycle from LA to New Orleans. Classic film goodness from 1969.

Roll another one,
Just like the other one.
You been holding onto it,
And I sure would like a hit!
