Using a system of 30 cameras and high intensity lighting, a team from USC's Institute for Creative Technologies has built an automultiscopic 3D display which essentially makes a 3D model of the person with video.

Did you leave your 3D glasses at home? That's okay. There is no need for them with these animated GIFs.

Here's a couple of sites you can browse with 'em on: 3D Manifesto and Swell 3D - they haven't updated in a while, but there's still a day of artificial depth ahead for you!

I gotta be honest with you, porn has not really benefitted from the technological jumps made lately - frankly, HD ass pimples are enough to make you break out the old 17" black-and-white from the guest room again.

Not all advances are a failure, however. Run and get those red/cyan glasses you got with the kids' copy of Aliens Vs Monsters, and experience the wonder that is 3-D filth.

If you've been around here recently, you know I've taken a keen interest in anaglyphic (red/blue) 3-D imagery and movies. While prowling the intarwebs for more 3-D goodness I came across this tasty little collection of horror and sci-fi movie pics. Slap on your glasses and enjoy!

Of course you haven't. Bust out the 3-D glasses, you'll want 'em!
